I have just changed my computer's hardware, now when i loggin to SL i can't finish loading it, as soon as it ends precaching my screen just freezes, sometimes with the enviroment half loaded, sometimes i just get a black screen. My last attempt was made using a different location to enter the grid, i managed to get in, but as soon as i tried to TP, i ended up with a black screen and SL stopped responding again. What can i do to fix this?
Right now i have a P4 dual core 4400 with 1 Giga RAM and onboard graphics, my connection is 8.1 Mb ADSL.

please tell us what on board graphics card do you have? just saying on board graphics doesnt do us much help! is it an Intel graphics? whats the RAM on that on board graphics? could be of help. I also reccomend giving us some info (if not the whole log) of DXdiag. Click on Start, Run, then type in "dxdiag" without the quotes, then say yes on the popup, save it to a file, then post to us at least the graphics section of the file, the whole thing might be a bit much to post in here

onboard graphics... >.< wich is?
Freezing after load can be unsupported vid card, or ram is faulty among some.

I just read from some other thread that someone updated graphics drivers for that chipset and after that SL totally borked.
Try and test a bit older graphics drivers if possible.

Good luck, Intel(R) G965 Express isnt supported, nothing but issues with SL , and blackness/stripes very common if you manage to get in. Right now SL is extreeemly slooow to log in, took me about 22 min, had to resort to logging into diffrent sims before i found one that i could actually get in on.

Managed to fix it, but hardly noticed the difference, since SL keeps being offline....crashing....with issues......same old story
