I Deleted A House On My Land--29 Prims..and Now The House Is Still There But Invisible And I Cannot Delete It...also..i Can Bump Into The Invisible House, Stand On The Invisible House...i Just Can't See The Invisible House Or Delete It...help!!

Others report that a 'Sim Restart' will fix this.
It seems to happen if you delete something, but it doesn't immediately disappear. So you delete it again. (after all, who wouldn't?). Then the first Delete works, the second delete finally comes along, and looks for the object to be deleted...doesnt' find it, and gets confused.
Moral: Delete things only once. Even if they don't go away. Wait a LOooong time before you delete them a second time.

btw this happens even if you dont try and delete the second time (also happens randomly when you try to delink an group of objects, and try to take it into inventory) I am not sure what happens in the client menu.. but I do know that the pieces move to the corner of the sim.. 0,0,0 and you cant physically delete,select,take,edit.. anything to those prims. only way I have found to fix this bug was to A) send back all prims to avatar or B) region restart.
(fyi these prims do count against your total so be carful)

A sim restart is a bodge, not a fix. The same issue will happen again and it isn't to do with deleting things twice, trying to remove something once will cause the same issue. I must say that today isn't as bad as the previous two days but it's still bad enough to warrant all out attention. |
