some problems

I ran into a few problems in SL, one textures won't show up at all on walls or anything (it all shows gray color)

same problem with avatars, nothing shows up.

I can really use a bit of help here

Some basic information would help alot with possibly diagnosing your issue.

This is probably it, and there may or may not be much you can actually do about it. I actually wasn't aware that it was possible to run SL at all with one of those. What drivers are you running, and where did you get them?

Alternatively, does your motherboard have an AGP or PCI express slot? If so, you might consider buying a $50 video card -- a GeForce 6200 or something similar, (NOT GeForce MX or Radeon 7000-series!) and disabling your VIA graphics altogether.
