Regarding this thread (since the forum it was posted in can't be replied to by non-Lindens--which is stupid):

You can get them in your cache directory (source):

DSF: RIFF-WAVs (sounds) temporarily stored in the cache but will eventually be put into the larger data.db2.x.... cache database files. You can often find your current (and recent) SL session's sounds here.
Just change the DSF file extension to WAV and play in a WAV player. You might want to change the name, too (asset keys lists the names and keys for all the SL user interface sounds).
