I eagerly installed the 1.65 update and now my SL client program crashes all the time. Or specifically when i'm editing the textures on my house :( No warnings, no ominous disk thrashing... one moment i'm editing my house and the next i'm staring at my Windoze desktop and the little crash-logger app. Any suggestions?

Bleh............. it's just happened again and i'm trying to relog.

O.o gah i had that happen to me quite few times to, do you use the new texture picker?

Seems i get that all the time when i use it with large linked objects, been better latly tho,
I usually drag the texture manually instead of picker (old habit)

Tried the usual ?,
:clean windows temp
:no shadows on in options
:clean SL cache
( C:\Documents and Settings\**name**\Application Data\SecondLife\cache )

:) ?

I think i found a workaround: remove the old texture and set the surface to blank. Then close the texture picker. Re-open it and then chose the new texture. Seems to work OK like that. A bit clunky but it gets there.

Sounds like a similar problem I have.. Just going through my eventory(inventory) and moving things to the delete bin since I'm not going to use even HALF the stuff, I figured I'd go ahead and do this to get my inventory back into some symblance of order. While I know we aren't supposed to be doing mass deletes for a while... I was working on it before the stuff happened! Now.. Crash! Delete automatically crashes my client!!!

Okay. I've just created a "To be deleted Folder" and moving things to it. That helps.
