texture freakout while building

Every once in a while when I am building raw objects, most often when I am modifying the size using the drag buttons all the textures in the game will start duplicating and spazzing out. I included a screenshot as an example. I run the game at 1280x1024, but have reduced the size of the image.

EDIT: This affects ALL textures in the world when this happens, not just the one I am working on. Only fixable with a relog. Cannot recreate with other games.

This is normal. If a texture is already applied to a prim & you then resize/modify the prims size the textures will and do freak out & you have to readjust the textures repeats.

No, that doesn't look 'normal'. Looks like a graphics card or a client problem.

hmmm okay so i'm not techy bet you could be right but i have had something simular happen when resizing an already textured prim.....maybe it was a bad/older graphics card which has since been replaced

Look at the ground's textures; they've gone wonky, too. It certainly seems like a graphics card problem--driver or hardware--so checking in other games for problems, making sure your drivers are up-to-date might get you further on this.

checked other games, no problem with them. And yes, I'll modify my post this changes ALL the worlds textures, not just the prims and it is only fixed with a relog
