runtime error??

keep getting this error:




My Vid card driver is up to date, I dunno what else this error can be from
any help on this be really appreciated

errf...thats a hard one to figure out why, can only throw out suggestions on that one as i never can figure this one out to much that can make it go like this, could be some program running in background conflicting with SL, if you can try stopping everything you have running .

update windows
reinstall c++ but eh win update should already done this tho
delete/reinstall SL
update virusprog/adaware, scan (doubt this one)

Worst case scenario
> format - reinstall windows <
sometimes faster then trying to find whats messing


other things i could think of, wich is...making no sense but ok
c++ errors can be these reasons to;
memory corruption, memory leaks, memory allocation errors, variable initialization errors, variable definition conflicts, pointer errors, library errors, logic errors, and algorithmic errors.
( windows registry mess :> )


One odd suggestion, make a new user on the pc, log in with that, try to launch SL, if it works then then its defintaly something the other user use wich is messing, only once have this ever worked for me tho
(some game didnt like my settings i had for some odd reason)

i get the same stupid error, compleatly knocks me out of SL.

I came home from work and found that same error waiting for me.
When I try to launch SL, as soon as the pic on the login screen comes up I start lagging bigtime.....
I can make it through the lag and start to sign in, continue to lag while loading until I get this error.

Checking my processes shows secondlife.exe using 50% cpu, of my X6800!
Thats alot of cpu usage for the game to use......

First thing I did was uninstall and reinstall the game, didn't help.
I'll keep messing with it and post anything I figure out, if anyone else has any suggestions I'd love to hear.

50-100% cpu use for SL is normal

Ive been having this same error on my asus a7sv laptop. strange enough it only seems to hapen when i am AFK hehe.. Sl runs just fine but 9 ot of 10 times its crashes this way..
