What is it exactly that you want to do, just display a picture that is on your hard drive?
This is such a common thing for people to want to do you'd think there'd be, say, a photoshop plug-in that would make getting an image file you have created stored on the web and giving you the url as easy as possible. For simplicity the built in attachment feature is hard to beat. For anyone who doesn't know how to display an image in the forums without using the attachment method, just go to an image hosting service such as photobucket.com, flickr.com, or imageshack.us. Just follow the directions at those sites and you will be able to upload pictures to a web site and get an URL to use in the forum's IMG function. I see at the imageshack site that it has an add-on the works in the windows explorer right click menu to let you upload by right clicking a file in explorer and selecting upload. Also I see a screen capture utility on the imageshack tools page that will let you take a screenshot and directly upload it to imageshack. I am going to try that one out now. _____________________

That was from the last attachment problem, I've been able to attach since then. ohhhh, sorry, I thought they had not put them back on at all. I just upload stuff to imageshack and hyperlink it that way (yes, it's a PITA sometimes, but I'm used to it now  )_____________________

That was from the last attachment problem, I've been able to attach since then. That post is from last week... this is the week that the "permanent" solution was supposed to be introduced. I swear, I've never seen a company have so many problems with vBulletin before. _____________________
