scripts and offline messages not working

Hi, since a few days i have a weird problem (without installing a new browser): offline IMs are not delivered to me anymore and in-world i cannot access or use scripted items anymore. (they are simply not working to me) That means i cannot buy items for example. When i log on at a different computer the off line IMs are delivered (even though i have already been in-world) and i can buy stuff as normal. It sounds like a firewall problem to me. I have already turned off the windows firewall and the Norton firewall but these problems are persistent. does any one know how i can get everything to work again?
