Constant Client crashes. ADITI, RC, and regular client!

This sucks. I've been trying to logon to SL now for a few hours, only to be greeted by:
Precaching....
Downloading clothing...
"Your clothing is still downlo-*CRASH to desktop*"

This has only happened a few times to me, and never for this long. I've cleared cache about 10 times, un-dual cliented, uninstalled and reinstalled, changed home location, changed alt accounts, etc etc. Nothing works

specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
7800 GeForce GS
1024 mb ram... etc etc

Has anyone ever had this problem? If so, have you fixed it? I really need to get back to working on my products...

edit: I just figured out that running the client with minimum graphic settings results in a crash in my computer. I maxed it out and it works fine now

Having same problem crashed like 10 x where is a techie when u need them...how do i change my settings?

I was having problems with the region handshake (and not the only one). I think a server (or two?) must have been down and nobody noticed. (It was Sunday and the techies were probably all at church
