white people with writing on them

I keep seeing dead people .............lol

No in fact i keep seeing people with all white bodies with writing on them, who refuse to rez

they have "MISSING IMAGE" on a white body in various places ?

is this linked to the "half baked"post on the blog ????

It's a Glitch or whatever from a couple updates ago.

It's very annoying


Everyone is seeing that but some people say they know a fix for it @_@

It's so funny, but I actually thought it was, a cpl of the first times I saw that. I was like... hmm.. must be a new trend I missed out on... until I started seeing whole bodies covered with them, and actually reading what the text said...lol.

Upon meeting my girl at a club I noticed she had on these white clothes with the black letters that seem to say missing.
I thought the clothes were ugly but I wasn't going to tell her that. I then turned and saw another female with the same clothes but she had also had on a mask with the same lettering. Right away I said to myself, my girl won't like seeing someone with the same exact outfit she's was wearing.

This bug is happening more frequently. At times you have to change the clothes you're wearing in order for them to go away.

Just another bugged out day in sl.

You're nobody if you don't have anything from the "Missing Image" line of clothing. Victoria's secret is supposed to be developing a line of "missing image" bra's....

I'm not sure what causes it, but I first saw this on the first Preview Grid. If I recall correctly, we were testing SL version 1.1, which was the first major graphics upgrade after SL went live.

missing textures..If you rebake your textures if solves the problem.........

Seriously Linden, fix this now!!! People spend tons of cash to look good so the least you can do is make sure people actually see their outfits right?

I wish it did, it doesn't...at least not with me Once I tried rebaking 4 times in a row... did nothing. I still had the pre-halloween mask on my face and matching clothes...

Did you try after the 3rd time relogging?
I know hun alot of problems resenty and no fixes took root. Maybe after the wednesday ( god help us ) al goes well with this update.

I couldn't relog. I was having a class and just told students to get used to it I got some cute pictures of myself sent to me tho Well, at least my hair looked good

And yes, I sure hope this time, they fix more than they break... In the olden days, I couldn't understand why people were having end-of-the-world parties before big updates.. I do now... I only dread of what's in store next...*shudders*

Hahahaha When look at the white clothes glitch it always says KISS ME...I'm serious.

itll probably be around forever, just like the AV head size bug. That one isnt seen as often really, but its annoying when it does.

if you dont know that one, its when the head isnt drawn on your screen with the actual demensions its supposed to be. Usually youll notice peoples heads sticking out of their Prim Hair. I really hate when people have to mention to me "Uhhh, you need to adjust your hair, the skin is sticking out" when its just a graphical bug. Either person going a few sims away and coming back usually fixes it.

I like SL overall, but Linden Labs does a horrid job of it. They skimp on everything possible, from programmers, to hardware. They could actually get more people and make more money if theyd spend the money on the hardware to actually run the grid decently, and spend the money to hire enough talented programmers. But i guess they are happy enough the the bottom line right now and dont really care too much.
