I have recently purchaced a system with dual Nvidia 7900GS cards that have 256meg of memory on each card. I am going to run both cards so SLI will be enabled and both GPU will be used.
I'm wondering when I select the amount of memory for my video card in the SL client do I select 256 or 512?

Sli memory dont add up, they both need 1 texture each to draw, so 2x256 > 256mb 2x512 > 512mb 4x512 > 512mb ect Recommended draw method > half / half ( Force split rendering) AFR (alternate frame rendering) is default sli but not as fast with SL.

If you want to run SL with SLI enabled, please see my post here: SecondLife with SLI
