everytime i try to login on the Second Life client (1.12) i get a login failed error even though my password works when logging in to the website. I have changed my password 3 times tonight and still no luck.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hi Ellijah,
Welcome to sl. It seems that you have accidently downloaded the 1.12 version, a preview version of sl. All previews for sl are open only to accounts already existing for at least one month (or so). They feature a special preview grid, a small number of machines that run a suitable server version, and there is only a limited number of sims to see and its use is for testing of new features mostly. In 1.12 these are improved group tools. For the main grid you need the plain 1.11 version here: http://secondlife.com/community/downloads.php Leff. |
