Notecard info inside Notecards Dissapearing.

Several weeks ago I compiled a guide with notecards attached inside. A couple days ago I go to ready my guide and a bunch of the notecard attachments are missing and replcaed with a question mark. I went to look at my other copies and they all have the question mark in the same place. I asked a friend of mine who i had given the guide to before and she has the exact same proble. I went to look at some other notecards to see if it was just that particular one and it seems to be in a lot of my other notecards that were not created by me. This problem didn't start till after the last update. Is there any way to fix this at all. As I spent hours working on it and don't want to have to start all over again. Please let me know. Thanks.
