I agree, the banlist gone is crap, how about restoring it from the database instead of wiping it away huh?

I have seen a few updates wipe away our personal mute list, and they managed to get it back. I'm sure once this is addressed to them they will fix it, just keep posting. Since I cant get in world yet, (still at work) can someone check there mute list to see if that got wiped too?

at least youre finding out the problems im getting madder and madder by the minute trying to get in while i watch my friends get in first go - 30 minutes and still no joy

the new snap shot isnt worth it any more you can see the tool bar on bottom of pic

Uncheck "show interface in snapshot" option on snapshot panel
It's useful to check "Update automatically" so when you play with options you see the up-to-date results.

The fuzziness is due to snapshot being 640x480 pixels large by default and scaled onto much larger client window. Change the "what size image do you need..." drop-down to "Current Window" and increase 'image quality' slider, then it'll be just of the 'right' sharpness.

(for in-game snapshots the 640x480 option is okay, though... since they open in smaller window matching the snapshot size)

BAN LISTS ALL GONE... Now that is not good, please take action NOW!

My (very small) ban list still exists. So not everybody is affected.

I'd sure be upset if they did that. I spent an hour building something before they closed again. I don't want to see that disappear. I'd rather just sit back and let them do their jobs and fix it, and see if they can't salvage the situation instead of just screaming for them to roll it back no matter the cost.

Fine, they can roll back everything but the asset database. I'm sure they can do that.

Estate ban list still in tact, however someone who was on it was able to port into the sim. Kinda defeated the purpose of it.

Also had a name (if that's what it is now) showing on the Estate ban list as (???) (???) ... exactly like that (???) (???). I'll assume it was a name that was on it, but does that mean the person who is now the avatar known as (???) (???) can get into the sim?

Anyone else see the newly named avatar(s) listed like that?

I don't know what's wrong with the upgrade but I know it's messed up. I couldn't tp to my apartment and to certain places. Game kept kicking me out saying I had to wait 5 minutes before I could relog. It sucks. Now, I can't get in period. Anyone know how long the grid will be officially down for?

On the main SL Forums menu is the update forum, top of list. That's where everyone is updated when it's posted. Every resident is waiting with you. When they update that, then we know. Until then - no one knows You'll have to keep checking there for updated info to be posted.

But I sure wish my multitool would shut up about agents. I'm not even wearing it and it's chattering away. Next step - deleting it all together (after hosting it in a prim)...

Rollback would be bad, I think. Why? Sim lag was horrendous, but while on today (before they took the grid down), the lag was almost non-existent.

I do wish we had less downtime, though...

A lot of items were gacked by the update. Word on the grapevine is that Xcite! was rather "excited" about it <insert humor here>

Try and remove it and reset the item. I've helped a few people with some items fix them that way. No guarantee of fix. If you reset and still not working, check with the creator since the update might have gacked the base scripts for it and they may need to know to update their scripts for them

I wish Multi-Tool would just shut up. It spams about itself to the general chat with no purpose other than to advertise. I've muted up towards 4 versions.

How come wen i put a car down, i click on drive, or ride. but all my guy does is sit there. i try usin the arrow keys but it doesnt work. how come?
