Hey, I downgraded my account a while ago, I'm back to basic since the 7th, yet I still have my $25 a month tier and it shows on my account. I don't want to be paying for this, expecially since I can't even own land. How would I fix this and will I need to pay the $25 at the end of next month?

I'd contact billing@secondlife.com with your question.

Ante, if you owned land for even one second during the current billing cycle, regardless of downgrading your account, you will be charged tier for the land you owned.
What is your tier billing date? _____________________

My current cycle ends the 7th, but I haven't owned land. I'm on a basic account, I can't own land.

Does it say you will actually be billed $25 on https://secondlife.com/account/index.php? You can technically have your tier set at $195/mo, but if your land holdings are 0m, you won't be billed anything. The system will charge you for the tier you land owned during the billing period. If you don't own any, it doesn't matter what you have your tier "set" at, it will be ignored, because you don't own land.
To test this, I just UPgraded my tier (which is currently 0) to $5/month. The site says I can purchase that much, but it says I will be billed $0 because I don't actually own any land. My bill date for late is the 7th as well. See... below I am in the $5/month tier (512m), but I am going to be billed $0 because I don't actually own any land above the 512m that comes with my premium account. ![]() _____________________

It says I reached my max, so I guess I didn't get my land out of my groups fast enough. Anyway, I upgraded to premium again so I could take my tier back down. The only reason I took it down was so I didn't have to pay for tier I wasn't going to use. I guess it was a mistake on my part and just ended up costing me more money.
