Ok I searched and was unable to find anything about a way to connect to second life, my college blocks just about every port except port 80, so is there anyway? I made an account installed the game and clicked connect, it stays on the verifiying server protical, then says it is unable to connect. what now?

You won't be able to get Second Life to work on that network connection. If they've locked down every port except 80, they've likely also totally disabled the UDP protocol, which we use. If that's the case, there really isn't an alternative I can provide.

So the only solution i have is to go find the ITs in my building kick their ass's and unblock what i need to huh? or i could call them, that might be easier.
