When are you people ar LL going to stop worring about stuff like the physicis eng. and start woring about things that actuley matter to the people that pay your salery?
I am tired of putting outfits on and taking them of 3-4 times to get them to rezz
the lag is been so horrid lately its almost impossible to play.
But thos issues be damned we want our new physics eng in place.
keep your incompadence up and you will be playing SL alone as people will get tired of paying for your devs to work on the personal projects vs what the paying members want.

Actually the paying members want alot, a newer Havok engine is just one thing on the list besides the new ver2 rendering system wich incorperates a newer Havok engine, better caching, and (hopefully) MONO for LSL.

It does seem more laggy since the last update. Not sure if this is a result of folks taking advantage of new scripting functions or if it's something inate to the update itself. It goes without saying that the more objects you have linked to your Avi and frequenting clubs or other places with a large number of residents and/or animations will likely increase the amount of lag you experience.

Frankly, I would like to know how LL plans to address the inevitable lag issues that will arise as the number of residents logged into the grid increases. The number of residents recently went over 165k and as this number increases so will the number of them that are logged in at any given time. This has the potential to bring the popular sims to their knees unless LL is proactively monitoring this and agressively addresses it.

I got a classic from Linden Support who put down most of my lag to a server between me and thier servers. It may well be true but I suspect it's more than just that and I think they do have a prblem with the updates.

I really hope the Lindens are listerning to their customers who pay thier wages and start actually getting the basics right before getting things looking good!
