Audio Issues

A while back I encountered a pocket of lag, and SL refused to respond, so I shut down the program, restarted it, and then my sound went all weird on me.

At first I thought my item sounds were corrupt, but it seems that whenever I walk / run, the sound effects turns high pitch, like... playing a tape a bit too fast. I'm not sure how that happened, but my music stream runs fine, it's just the sound effects that are messed. Iif anyone can offer me help as how to resovle this I'd appreciate it, it's quite annoying.

Sounds like something a reinstall might fix... hope that helps...

Well... tried that, still nothing I tried installing new drivers, reinstalling SL, nothing. I'm still getting issues with the audio..

I'm going to attempt to try and connect through a friend's computer, to see if perhaps this is a local problem or a problem on SL's side.
