Ok here is the deal.. i have a dell machine but what happens is i download it.. i install it and start it up.. and i can log in but my problem is that when i start to play it lags ALOT like.. it will start up but will slow down very fast and i can barley do anything... i know its not the game .. what i have heard is its because of RAM and that i need to get more memory.. is that true? and if there is anything else i need to speed it up tell me .. i want to get it so i can play. there are several things you can do:
1. Upgrade your RAM 2. Make sure you have a decent graphics card (more important than RAM) 3. Some say install Linux, it might be faster
BUT - before you do any of those things...
4. If you are lagging in Orientation island, go somewhere quiet and see if it is just as bad 5. Start tweaking the preferences:
- draw distance (reduce it) - streaming media - switch em off - etc
Good Luck !

it is, but i for one wouldn't tell anyone to install another OS just for 1 game, especially one as confusing and complicated as Linux

Also, clean your cookies and defrag. You might be full and a good cleaning will also help.

Sounds like you have some FPS issues. turn down all graphics to minimum. if its a baseline Dell system, you might need to upgrade your graphics card, it most likely has a low speed video processor, or low VRam. if you want to post your whole sys specs, go into Start menu, click on RUN, then in the box that comes up, type in "dxdiag" minus the quotation marks. Then hit YES on the popup about WHQL. then when its finished loading, save that Dxdiag to a text file. Open that text file, and copy and paste its contents into here. It will let us know your whole sys specs.
