What the hell is going on?
Seems everything in sl is broken. And it's not just anything, it's the more important things that aren't working.
1. You can't buy Lindens This is so necessary for sl's way of life. People can't pay their lands, their homes, shops suffer as you can't go shopping.
2. Teleportation breaks down all the time. Another thing that's really necessary and it seems nothing is being done about this either.
3 Textures are all screwed up.
The list goes on and on and I'm not in the mood to write all down but you guys here know all too well the persistent problems we face daily. And nothing is done about it. Are they working on this? I haven't seen where Linden has said anything about correcting these problems. We don't need anymore buttons on the camera and unnecessary things like this is what Linden spends their time on and constantly gives us.
And for this land prices have increased. If Linden paid the same amount of attention to the problems we face as they do increasing prices this would be one hell of a game.

Nope. Nobody's working on anything. Lindens blew through all their VC funding money with lavish parties, hookers, and coke. The lights are off at the office and a for-sale sign is in the window. Game over, man. Game over. As has been established in a plethora of other threads and in the blog, LL currently has 70% of programmers working on bug fixes and stability issues. The other 30% are working on new features and system improvements. Things take time. Alot happens behind the scenes without formal announcement.

Well from what is being said paying 5,000,000 yen or 41,000.00 a year for UI/programmer(in Japan) LLABS really shows the sorry state of the game. If this is how LLABS is spendng their money. Its nowonder we are in a state of confusion.

From: Jacques Groshomme As has been established in a plethora of other threads and in the blog, LL currently has 70% of programmers working on bug fixes and stability issues. The other 30% are working on new features and system improvements. Now tell me how I'm to believe those number. Those figures came from the same people who early last month said "age verification" was coming.......by the middle to late part of May. It's 3 days short of the middle of June right now, and not one peep about about it from them since. And you notice that BBcode has been disabled. The reason given by Torley Linden (one of those same people who quoted those figures) was that the forums were going to be upgraded.......again not a peep since. Not to mention that BBcode doesn't need to be disabled for an upgrade in the first place. And these same people so often tell us "issues are resolved"...........when they are not. So, what's the incentive for the average user to believe that 70% of their programming department is really devoted to bug fixes? Because they say so? You've got to be kidding.

From: Peggy Paperdoll BBcode has been disabled. The reason... the forums were going to be upgraded The sticky doesn't mention an upgrade to the forums, rather to the website, which might well mean the removal of the forums or their conversion to something really funky. Bad funky, not good funky. From: someone In preparation for an upgrade on our website, we've found it necessary to disable BBCode formatting on our forum

I'm not sure which... According to this site: http://www.payscale.com/research/JP/Job=Software_Engineer_%2f_Developer_%2f_Programmer/SalaryThat's a crappy salary for a software developer in Japan.

I know, but you said YEAR originally Love. Big difference. About $55,000,000 YEN a year difference. I'm aware that $5,000,000 YEN is a lot of money, but different jobs demand different salaries and $5,000,000 YEN per annum is a slightly uncompetitive rate for a software developer. In the UK or US, somebody in the same position would be being underpaid by about a third. Who is this person they're showcasing anyway? From: Usagi Musashi Remeber Tokyo and Osaka are in the top 5 in the world to live in cost of living. That only justifies a higher than average salary. $5,000,000 YEN a MONTH does seem rather steep though. It costs about that to die in Tokyo doesn't it? (Funeral costs.)

So because they tell us a billion times they have X amount of people working on bugs and fixes that it makes it ok then? That we shouldn't complain? Get off it!
I don't think most people care about all this BS. People want to see results ok? Especially those who are paying this game whether for premium accounts, housing or whatever else it is.
It doesn't matter how big the game is or how tough it is to maintain. This isn't the paying public's concern, results are. If LL puts the game out and says this is what you're getting for your money then they better damn well deliver. Who gives a shit how supposedly hard they're working on it. They're taking your money, right? Ok, so give up in return the results you're suppose to and not a lot of talk of people fixing things or LL specialty spam of "We're doing everything we can. Please have patience."
The end part is results and the results in sl suck big time. Everywhere you look there's something broken, everywhere. Then not only is it broken but they don't fix anything and fix it in a proper time frame. How long hasn't the teleportation been giving players problems? About a year now, a fking year and have they fixed it? NO! Same thing with missing image problem on av's, another year long problem. And now you can't buy Lindens either. Is this going to be another year long problem? Should we all laid back because as they said they have people working on bugs and fixes like they always tell us? Maybe that's satisfactory for you but it's not for me and for alot of others here.
So yeah, maybe they are spending it all on hookers and parties. I wouldn't doubt it.

From: Usagi Musashi Its a month sorry. Not a year.......... I have an extremely difficult time believing that. It seems far more likely that was a misprint or something. How about providing some links for us to see what you are referring to? .
