Since the last update I have noticed that textures no longer map correctly on the interior or exterior of cut cylinders.
Try this: Create a cylinder and put a detailed texture on it. Cut the cylinder, doesn't matter how much. Notice how the texture 'bunches up' immediately next to the cut, it will show on the edge(s) that are right next to the opening
If you hollow the cylinder, you will notice the same problem on the inside. This was not the behavior before the latest update.
Anyone else see this? If you do, please bug report it along with me, we have to let LL know loud and clear that updates that screw other stuff up is absolutely unacceptable, LOUD AND CLEAR.

Dnel, I haven't seen this (and I've got a lot of stuff made out of cut cylinders), but if I do, I'll be sure and bug report it.
I'd like to ask you a favor now. Please refrain in the future from spamming the boards with links to your original thread. I know you're just trying to bring attention to the matter, and that your intentions are for all of our benefit from your point of view. However, spamming is against the rules, and in the eyes of many people, it's considered rude and annoying.
Even if your subject is important, like this one, when you put links to it all over the place, the message can end up being ignored as people just get mad at you for the spam instead of listening to what you're trying to say.

Ya I understand, I was a little choked when I saw this and I know I was wrong to do it. Apparently some other people I have talked to don't see it either, I'll have to investigate further...

Ive bug reported this too. I use cut cylinders for a lot of my products (glasses). A friend who shares the store with me also has the same problem and was thinking about taking her glasses off the market until this is fixed. This is making a lot of my products look VERY sloppy

Ok this is what I see, and what my friends who have taken pics and passed them to me see as well: Uncut Cylinder: Cut Cylinder: Notice how the vertical grid lines get closer together near the edge of the cut. There were no texture changes to the prim between the two pics. I originally noticed this because I have some signs that use the inside of a cut cylinder and the text is all squished at the edges.

I have seen and reported it as well

Noted, bug reported, and in the feedback on the current version here, with illustrations. 4 repeats on a cylander cut to 1/4 of a circle seems to work fine. 5 repeats and 1/5 circle or 6 repeats and 1/6 circle screws up on at least one edge. I first saw this on a brass name tag that I had just finished before the .12 release. It was fine at that time. But in .12 and .13, the ends of the tag showed this distortion.
