clouds and skyscrapers

I have a skyscraper in two different locations (Redear and Huk). My avatar is standing on top of the one in Redear, and it appears that he's 217 meters in altitude. The problem is: I'd like these skyscrapers to be apartment buildings or have some other general use besides just looking tall, and at 217 meters, I'm standing *above* the clouds. At least the top three floors of my 14-story building are inundated with clouds about half the time.

I'm aware of using the debug menu to turn off cloud rendering, but that doesn't really solve the problem for everybody else who comes here. I'd rather them not have to fiddle with settings just to see the other side of the room.

Does anyone know if it's possible to disable cloud rendering altogether on one's land or in a selected area? If not, does anyone know if Linden has any plans to deal with the intrusion of clouds on taller and taller buildings?

Nope cant change it on land, or have it always off in debug setting.

Was some talk awhile ago about diffrent weather effects but i think that went up in smoke or burried somewhere in suggestion forum.
