Objects won't attach to avatar

Hey all,

I have looked over various fields and I can't seem to find what I am looking for. Is anyone having trouble attaching newly created items? I can create any kind of object but I can't seem to attach them to a body part on my avi! Can anyone help me out? I'm trying to build shoes as well as other new items and I just can't attach them no matter what I do. Is this s server wide issue or is it only affecting certain people? I appreciate any help you all can offer and links to any relivant info ont he main sight or on the forums.

There is a bug,

Drag object to ground, rclick, select attach from radial.

After you attach then you can from then on select wear.
