female shape and oufit shape not found in database

i was with a friend tonight and went to log to clear out my cache since objects and textures in game were glitchy. now, the problem with this is that im running the dreaded mac version of SL, and once i click on FILE, the game crashed to desktop. so i forced quit the crash reporter since its screwed, and cleared my cache. i restarted SL, logged in, and during the "downloading clothing" portion of logging in, i received a message saying that my "female shape and outfit shape could not be found in the database". everytime i try to put it on, it says the same thing. i contacted live help, and talked with a linden that greeted me, believe her name was patsy or something. i filed a bug report. and i wait.

its been over an hour now since the crash and this is driving me insane. ive deleted the old copy of the game, downloaded and installed the game again, trashed my preferences and redid them again. restarted my mac. and im still getting the same error. seems to be some sort of databse glitch or bug. dosent seem to be on my end.

any others getting this? i really dont want to lose this shape for my female since i worked really hard on it to get it to where i liked it...

running a 1.8 ghz imac on 10.4.3 and the latest version of SL as of tues the 8th.

Something similar happened to me just before the update to 1.7, i did the whole live help/ bug report thing too... but to no avail..i had to make a new avie shape. Basically my oldshape file became corrupted and wouldn't load. This occured after i logged in one day, got the clothing still loading message but i could only see attachments on myself. I reloged and the same thing happened, then i could see myself and i was a hermaphrodite. i immediately checked to see what shape i was wearing(i thought it had gone to one of the defaults from the library) and it said NONE!.

So as a heads up to those of you out there, if you like your avie shape, make a note of your numbers from apperance.
