Poltergeist??

Some strange things have been happening on my land & I thought
I would ask for comments/suggestions first, before reporting a bug.

My group owns several un-joined parcels of land in the same sim.
Over the last 2/3 days we have noticed objects disappearing. These
seem to be objects owned by a group member, but with the 'share with'
group box' ticked. There are only four members in the group, and
no-one has been taking/returning the objects.

The first was a bed and a fireplace from one of the smaller parcels.
They were there one evening & then gone the next morning.
These were found in the respective owners inventory's two days later.

A rug from a second smaller plot, and lastly a couple of swans from
the main plot have also disappeared, and still remain to be found.

We currently have over 400 prims 'free' so being over our prim allowance
should not be an issue.

Any suggestions please?

Do you have auto-return on? Are they actually set to the group involved? (i.e. the area under the description of the object lists the player as the owner, and the group as the group?)

If so, you've been hit by the bug that's been around since 1.3 that LL still hasn't managed to track down and fix yet. If not, you need to make sure that they build the objects with their group tag showing, or set the objects to the group later.

Auto-return is turned on and set to 10mins. The objects
were set to the correct group, and have been in place for up
to a week before disapearing. (

It's possible you've been a victim of autorezzer griefing. Because of the return bug, it IS possible to force a parcel to begin returning the OWNER'S objects. Contact the Lindens. This really needs to be fixed.
