Recently bought an HP value laptop that gives acceptable results with SL.

Unit was recertified and cost $782 from Newegg.
Movement is somewhat jerky, etc. but considering I use this with a Verizon USB720 Aircard I am quite satisfied. Best WWAN speed to date has been 1192 KB/sec Down.
