This is my first post, not sure if I am making it on the correct thread, but here it goes.
I want to increase my graphic settings, however everytime I do, theres not much I can do in the game, and this just doesnt seem right.
Heres my system.
Asus A8N-SLI Amd 4200+ x2 1 gig ddr dual chanel *2 Nvidia 7800GT Running in SLI* 74GB WD Raptor 10,000RPM HD
So I want to know what the graphic settings should be set at. That way I can acutually see SL the way its meant to be seen.
What settings are other users using?
Also, why is 256MB the most I can choose? I should be able to choose 512 for video options.
Thanks, Tyler

sli 256+256 /2 > 256mb gpu memory is mirrored across the two cards, it doesnt copy a texture from one gpu to other, why you get 256mb max on 2x256, it doesnt add up. Sli does little for SL , still to much used on cpu, except you can put some eyecandy on gpu's Still SL prefer cpu > gpu, render heavyl just max everything, advice not to set object sliders to high tho, seems to trigger alot of random crashing when editing, -.-

It just seems when i turn the graphics up a any at all, everything is so laggy. You cant even walk without lagging like crazy. Its like everything freezes, and then you see some more things load, some pics, trees, etc...
Then it looks nice, and you take a step, and the whole thing starts over agian.
