No increase for estate bans?

While the parcel bans get a overhaul LL neglected the estate bans. I work in a sim that rents out land to groups for residentual purposes. When i need to ban someone i like it to effect the entire sim. I would have to be a member of each and every one of those 13 other groups who are renting here for the parcel ban system to effect me in any way. I am still limited to 63 maximum bans. So in effect "I got NOTHING from this update". Just a bunch of useless new features. So my question is, why was estate bans neglected? I guess i will have to keep using this psykes security system thats also limited to 80 entries since LL capped script memory... *rolls eyes*

Estate tools got most of the upgrades for a long time

Well for a REAL long time there was NO help fro the reg land owner No Nota Zip! Nothing at ALL! We finaly get some help (Ban goes up over 700 meters does benfite Estate owners also) and the Estate owners start yelling they only have 63 well it is reall 300 + 63 Use the Estate Ban for ones that you NEVR EVER want to return to any of your land and use the other 300 to protect also. Sorry a bit more work but It is nice they could fix something for the regular user for a change.

Also there may be a good reason for not changing both at the same time. If the 300 part is buggy :eek: (and it does seem to be buggy!) at least you have the 63 to fall back on till the other gets fixed!

In the last 2 years Estate tools improved greatly! The only help for the Avg land owner was the list to show who owns what prims on the land. ( Very usefull to ALL Landowners including Estate owners!). I have had a chance to use them as they were upgraded they are very nice now. Yes they can use some improvment. (Like uping the ban limits) but if you read the release notes they are making minor changes fixes to them also.

One minor upgrade was to the scripting tools (Never been upgraded) the editor did not even have a Find/Replace that was invented in the days of Apple II computerers. From the sound of it you proibly found some reasion to complain about that fix also. :rolleyes:

FYI:

Estate = more than one sim. The parcel limited 700 m limit and the 300 av limit are of absolutely no use to estate owners.

Also, estate bans don't rely on silly red walls. If you are on an Estate ban you can't TP in, and as you can't fly to an estate, what would the point of 700 m ban lines be anyway?

I suggest you make sure you know what you are talking about before posting in future.
