Installer crashed...
running, crashing...

Had non-stop client crashes since the 1.13.x release.

Grey, grey and more grey - infact on my island with only me on it - after a restart just to make sure I am not going mad - its running like a sloth.
I also disabled alot of scripts to see if that was the culprit.
no.
I pulled down all the graphics options on the client so that I felt I was playing Monster Maze on an Atari 800 :)
no.

Is this a system wide "problem" being addressed or the shape of things for the future?

I have camping devices not paying, gambling devices not paying or accepting payment...
(I assume due to transaction timeouts)
I have objects vanishing into hyperspace when I rez them - not returned... just gone.

Packet loss.
I would love to know how this is calculated as I was getting 116% packet loss today :)
Other applictions were streaming at a fine rate with no error.
This is with a high end PC and 8mb DSL connection.

I don't know if it is appreciated at the Labs but a major PR excercise is needed to halt a descending image with concierge clients.
I appreciate that systems of this scale are hard to update and manage and that its impossible to make all happy at any one time.
Until somebody communicates some controlled and meaningful road-map for this (beta?) product, you will continue to get flames about "stop adding features and fix the problems".

Please demonstrate that this is not a beta product and that Labs is a company with the customer satisfaction as a priority...

LLeafblower.

Hi LLeafblower, I'll move this to Technical Issues. I've heard of some crashing issues in 1.13.0 (10) but haven't been apprised of known issues affecting masses of Residents... yet. Will certainly inform once and if I do know.

Please do send in your crash reports from Preferences > General > "Crash reports:" and if you figure a reproducible way to keep making you crash, send a bug report from Help menu > Report Bug, where your crash reports can be cross-referenced.

Also, since you're a Concierge client, you're eligible to contact Jack, Cyn, and Fritz Linden of the Concierge personally for assistance.
