Yes i know, isnt excactly the most fabulous thing to do, but this will make you log near to where you actually want to go, you can make some links on desktop if you tp between couple of places.
click map - click where you want to go
make a SL url
like this exsample is
secondlife://Jenner/43/104
*quit SL*
make a shortcut on desktop or
Start/run/secondlife://Jenner/43/104
Some sims has 2 names they would be like this
Little Italy = secondlife://Little_Italy/43/104
You will log on nearest HUB locaction, i use this till they will fix tp , sometimes you can , sometimes you cant, i find it faster to just quit SL and use the urls i made on desktop.

This is really nice to know, and given the state of the system very useful, but sadly should not be necessary for a system this far into the production lifecyle. Thanks for the info though. I'll probably be doing this myself to get around the stupid TP issue.

Neat. If you want to make it easy for people to use this trick when they want to come to your land, send a postcard of your place to SLindex and and people can look it up and click on your Location URL.
i.e. If you wanted to go to Avarice in Paradise you could just click the link on the SLindex listing . _____________________
