I got an account for the wordpress thingy, signed in and posted a comment, and...nothing happened. The comment apparently got lost in cyberspace.

Are posts silently dropped in moderation?

It's moderated, if they don't want to hear it then it will not appear. Not a good way to get the community opinion but it's how they want it. I personally won't even look at the blog let alone use it.

If it's moderated then I'd like to know why it'll accept hundreds of pretty much identical responses to a "grid is down" post, some of them fairly nasty, but won't accept something like the following, the third of my discarded posts. I'm more tempted to believe it just isn't working.

People forget that the game's biggest asset is the stuff people build (this is by design--read the articles about the philosphy of the game), and that can be done without paying. So, cash input should not be the total measure of trust.

But payment info on file is more likely to make someone accountable, so payment info is a measure (but not a complete measure) of trust, even if actual money transfer never happens.

That said, payment info that is actually used is more likely to be current and correct, and hence even more trustworthy.
