I've seen a lot of people complain about this, my best friend and my coi-GM both seem to have been suffering from it- really high packet loss and lag too?

regarding crashing...

Ever since the 1.8 update I have been crashing to black screen. Everything on my computer is still running but I cannot do anything because the screen has gone black. I have to restart the computer and when I go back to SL it says it crashed. It is so frustrating!
