crash, Crash, CRASH & BURN (argh)

The spontaneous crashes back to desktop I keep getting are just plain maddening now.
For weeks now, since the release of 1.10.xx (whatever) I have been getting these crashes, that happen when I am doing any of a number of things or even just doing nothing at all, with no apparent pattern of cause and effect whatsoever. Some days I crash 4x in 4 hours or, like last night, 7+ times in a 20 minute span. I have brand new drivers, cleared cache, even bought a new video card. My computer should well be able to handle SL, and my connection is no slouch either. What does it take to make Sl stable so I can just immerse myself in the world rather than cursing my way thru yet another crash log, or a bug report I can't send cause I got crashed back to desktop 2x while trying to file it? This has been ongoing and had **partly** resolved for a couple of weeks, but is back with a vengeance and getting progressively worse. Help!

Know what's crazier?

Me, and a few other hundred people have been having exactly the same problem for weeks... and the first post to get a reply from a Linden... isn't even posted in the tech forums!

support just keep telling me to reinstall my video card drivers, which I've done about 7 or 8 times now and I still can't stay logged in without crashing after a few minutes.

I hope 1.12 works!

edit -- I just tried 1.12 and it crashed again

Well, 1.12: crashy as the same old kamikaze nonsense I have been enduring for a couple of months now. Just like before- pardon the broken record here- I can be doing anything, I can be doing nothing, I can be chatting, building, using camera, land editing, flying sitting teleporting-- literally anything including filing out a damn bug report about it-- and POW-- back to my desktop.

I was told by a linden its my network settings. I have 15mbps cable here and although I thought it was odd, I set that slower. Guess what? No change. Still crashing. I have updated and reinstallled drivers, uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, Hell- I even maxxed a credit card on a new graphics card that was no faster than my old one, just a different brand cause LL couldn't be bothered to support my other 3 month old one.

This is making doing anything in world a real pain in the butt. I am so tired of starting conversations with "don't take it personally if I vanish. I keep crashing and will brb if I poof out". I am tired of getting maybe 30 min work done in 2 hours because I had to relog and let everything rez again so many times.

If I sound a bit upset, well, yes, I sure am, despite being an incredibly patient and understanding person. I have been fighting this for months now and even with all the weekly updates SL is still broken. I am trying to run my modest business here and this instability is making the service close to unusable and no joy to experience.

I need help and I need it yesterday, please.
