Question: Private Islands and access (height?)

Hi, maybe someone can help me to find out a solution. I want to keep my island on the ground private, it's deeded to a group, but I want to put a shop or club in the sky.
I read the article about the access heights in the knowledge base, so in principal it should work?? I set the region/estate to public access, have one parcel (full region) set to group access only. Any idea? Thanks in advance

You'd need to cut out a small parcel as the landing point without any access restrictions.

If the entire sim is one single parcel and you have it access restricted (in About Land) then anyone not on the access list will receive "Could not teleport" (the old "No valid parcel found" because teleport routing doesn't have anywhere to put people.
