Second Life does nothing after Jan 10 update

Hello. after today's update (Jan 10) I log in to SL, but after a few seconds, all stops. No bandwidth, no download no upload. It simply stops. I know I get completely disconected from the server but the client itself doesnt even see that. No disconnect message. It just... stays there doing nothing.

Steps already attempted: Clear cache, reinstall SL (1-13-1-6) Installed SL in my laptop to see if it is a problem in my computer.

So far nothing worked and the problem persists. Please help.

Current connection type, cable modem, Tested with and without router.

Gotta give thanks to Jonathan Linden for helping me in here. He checked the accounts and from there they seemed fine. After his check, I could mysteriously re-log (and stay logged). Still, thanks for his help and fast response.

Don't know how many are experiencing extremely slow SL website and forums, plus grid server being unreachable. I'm currently experiencing this. And I tried everything here to get connected. But seems I won't. I need no help client side because I know my connection is ok. But please check your servers.

excuse the bumps but I ran out of options here. All I've done to try and have connectivity to SL has failed. Not even the first look viewer works for me. I try to connect a bunch of times, giving me the same thing, a client that simply stops working, same as my first post here. Then somehow it connects after long hours of trying. This isn't the experience I want and I must admit I'm getting desperate here. I don't want to beforced to cancel the account or drop it to basic. Somebody please help!
