SL requires 32 bit graphic error message - a FYI of a solution not in the Wiki

Yesterday my partner bought a new computer. For a good 12 hours we fought with this error message. Put in a new video board, turned on AGP, Did the settings from the desktop, Followed every suggestion in the Wiki on the issue.

Turns out that we found something not in the Wiki.

1) Right Click the SL Icon on the desktop and pick properties
2) Click the Compatability tab
3) Make sure 256 color is NOT checked there

It seems his brand new HP was shipped with 256 in compatability checked as the default. We changed this and bye bye error message LOL
