I was quite successful getting 1.5.14 running under WineX by 1) installing via Point2Play and 2) selecting "WineX 3.2.2-1" as the version to run it under.
Trying this with the 1.6 preview version doesn't work at all, just crashes immediately. Has anyone been able to get the preview working under WINE and if so how did you accomplish this?

With me (pre-built WineX 3.2 CVS), preview 1.6 doesn't crash, it just comes up with a black screen. All the buttons etc. are still there and functional, but you can't see anything.
