No SL with update of Geforce 4MX GPU

Hi,

I have a weak graphics card I know, but it has been running quite ok with SL for several months now.
I have now updated the drivers via MS and nvidia forceware and now SL is not starting any more (during start-up it says "graphics divers are not up to date or unsupported" and shuts down SL). Unfortunately I cant roll back to my previous config.
My stuff
AMD Athlon 2600+ 2.08 GHz
500 MB Ram
XP home SP2 (all updated)
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 4 MX GPU (on board)

Any hints highly appreciated, I am suffering ...

mx4 series shouldnt update their vid card drivers beyond 71.98 ,
it adds nothing to them anyway, nvidia drivers above that, are fixes for higher cards/games with certain cards that get graphic errors, wich doesnt affect mx4 series.
