Alas, what the hell is going on? First one week the inv problem, now a complete network failure twice. What are you doing there, is the janitor again doing the site support? Nothing on the blog first, now the same text as yesterday. Do you think many people will stay in SL if it keeps going like this? What would happen if all sim owners have a network failure with their payment transaction to LL??

You are just burning my money for an unusable sim and items that I can't rez and that now since almost two weeks. Grrrr

PS: And why in three devil's names is that damn formatting here still off?

Yeah... That's a lot of money out the window for a sim owner.. With the downtime yesterday, and the downtime today as of 11:00AM EST, the refund should be a WHOPPING $4.27

@Ketra, yes, if it would be only these two days. What about my work i put here in? Or do you think i have all days unlimited time to work on the sim? Everytime i want to do something here, either the network , the database or something else is borked. Why should i pay then for a service that doesn't work? And if count all days together in a month it's quite more than that. And also imagine they had to pay that 4$ to all sim owners, would be quite much.

how come?
It's the "resolved" network issues.

And yes I agree, unless you do your sim management full time you lose a lot of time / money with the downtimes. You come home from work and you say "okay, I got 3 hours to do this, that, meet him, change this tenants wallpapers, change the lease sign there, and this, that, the other thing and yeah dont forget that.

Today this would have been 4p my time. Now it's 7:45pm my time. Now go and figure, yeah the 3 hours are up sicne 45 minutes and nothing done.

Ahh yeah, and I forgot that french dude. Wasd supposed to send him his promo t-shirts and some other itmes since yesterday so I get paid for them. Shame that I can't upload the textures for the shirts. Hope he will like plain & blank shirts then without any texture on them..... rofl

I don't know where you learned math, but for a sim costing $295.00 a month, divided by 30 days in a month (average), it would be $9.83 cents per day. Now multiplying that by the 4 sims I own, that's $39.33 cents per day. That doesn't even bring up the lost sales from my business. So, while you may not think it's a legitimate gripe, I think it is.

I agree with Darien.
You lose income, possible leases cause people can't TP to your location or the search don't work. You have events planned out and people booked but it dont matter cause people can't come anyway or (again) search don't work. Your residents lose items they rez or try to pick up and do your head in about it and you still have to pay the tier and cover the losses from any other business you might be involved in.

I am beginning to think the ones who are not griping, or who are even defending Linden Labs, are not the ones who own sims, businesses, have staff to pay in the game, or who have premium accounts.

It's pretty easy to dismiss this mess when you have nothing to lose. It's much more unforgivable for those of us shelling out real cash for a game that is constantly on the fritz.

All gripes should be addressed, regardless if you shell cash out or not to play this game. However, don't dismiss gripes from people who are investing a lot of time and real money into a game that should NOT be in the state of disrepair that it has been in for a while now. I think these people have invested enough into this company and have a legitimate reason to gripe. Anyone paying out real money to Linden Labs is a stockholder/stakeholder in this game. It is our right to gripe to management when things are not running as smoothely as they should be.
