I've been hit by this one a few times but not realy badly until now, just lost 3 hours work. when working on a hud (scripts in particular) it can sometimes revert to a previous version on detaching it, for no apparent reason.

I often have that problem - I treat any changes done to a attached item as temporary changes. It is always safer to put on ground and edit scripts and contents.

I never trust the asset servers anymore (recent world downtime backs up that paranoia)
I always save multiple versions of scripts and sometimes objects I am working on,especially if I attach and detach.....
ie. object v1.0 1.1 1.2 etc..... then major changes 2.0 2.1 etc...ya get what I mean.
Reason for the redundant constant saves is, I have items that are years old that I go to bring out and I get the dreaded "missing from databse" :-/ very irritating to say the least.
So since I have started saveing multiples, sometimes renaming the backups so as to not have a similarity between copies just incase there is a asset bug that doesn't recognise certain names or whatnot, I have had about 95% less stress over lost items due to LL's database burps or inability to keep a stable database (be-it by no fault or pure negligence we'll never know).
