Only shirt texture on girl won't rez

Hi,

My kitten and I have been battling a texture problem. Her shirts will not rez fo me. ihave tried so many things, but been unable to get her to rez completely for me. Everything she has fully rezes except her shirt...her shirt rezes but to a blurred state. I completely uninstalled and re-installed the client and she rezzed in quickly--except for her shirt. That same area of her avatar has problems rezzing fully, too.

Can anyone help?

UPDATE: it's her skin that isn't rezzing which in turn causes her clothes not to rez.
This is with avatar vertex program both on and off...I dunno what to do
to fix it. If she takes off top for a while then her skin will rez and she can put
it back on..but that's very inconvenient.

try changing one of the avatar bars abit, bit taller or something, and save or adjust clothing , save and see if it rez then, this bug still around ò.O

She had to get a new skin. And even still if she changes clothes, we have to TP before it'll finish rezzing. it rezzes mostly and finishes....like someone forgot to flush a stream somewhere in code...

This, again, is the friggin' texture issue. Send a BUG REPORT. Drown Linden's in Bug reports about all things Texture...maybe then they will fix it.

I have this same effect all the time for many different textures.

Even things like the walls of my house which should be cached a thousand times over. This has been a constant problem for me since 1.7. It happens on my GF's face sometimes which is really disconcerting.

I pay almost a hundred US a month to live in a blurry house with a blurry GF???

Happens to me often, especially at home, especially after my girl changes clothes. Not just shirt... pants too. And sometimes it happens on signs in shops. It's frustrating because at first you think it's just loading slow, that it'll finish if you wait awhile. But it won't.

It's *possible* that the skin or some of the underlying clothes are 256x256 textures but the outer layer is a 512x512 texture, and only one quarter of the outer layer gets loaded. But I'm no expert.

Now, this may sound stupid, but when my shirt doesnt rez, I do this trick.

Put on the shirt you want to wear, then if its blurry, put on a diffrent shirt, then switch back to the shirt you want to wear. The shirt you want to wear usually pops right up then, rezzed and everything.

I've been having problems like this with clothes since 1.7... things I wore fairly often before don't rez all the way now. They end up blurred and won't focus. What's wierder is that in some cases, other items in the same folder are fine. I hadn't thought of trying to teleport to see if that helped, I might try it. Now that I know this is a widespread bug, I'll start sending in bug reports... it's a pain to have so many things be unusable.

On the brightside I've been collecting clothes affected by it. Some of it has embarassing IM conversations (which I'll have to get permission to clear), but hehehe it's all fun.
