First LL said my problem may be due to my sound card. Then they said it may be my RAM and Video Card. Replaced those. So now with a Creative Labs X-Fi Gamer Edition, 1GB new RAM, and a BFG Nvidia 7600GSOC...I still get This. Anybody see the problem?

I can see artifacts on your screen/pic, but to suggest they have anything to do with a sound card is ludicrous at best, unless they were considering some sort of bus line cross chatter/interfeerence, but thats a long shot. As you have changed the GC, the Ram and the soundboard and eliminated them: Have you checked your screen refresh rate to match both the GC adapter and the monitor? LCD/TFT only refresh at 60htz's. Are you running SL is a native window screen size? Are the setting on the GC 'Let application decide'? What is your connection speed like? (packet loss, latency and ping). What is the rating of your power supply in watts. Do the artifacts appear only on particles such as clouds, and on textures? Do you have speakers or other electrical equipment near your system? Do you have any anti-surge electrical devices with your system (UPS, Anti-surge power strips etc). Do you know if your system has suffered any electrical surges, spikes and or brownouts? Does the artifacts appear in any other programme?

From: AWM Mars Have you checked your screen refresh rate to match both the GC adapter and the monitor? LCD/TFT only refresh at 60htz's.
Yes, it is at 60htz. Graphics card is good with that. From: someone Are you running SL is a native window screen size?
1400 x 900 From: someone Are the setting on the GC 'Let application decide'?
Yes, I am letting the applications decide From: someone What is your connection speed like? (packet loss, latency and ping).
No clue about the packet loss/latency/ping but I am downloading at 8616kbps and up and uploaded at a little over than 1mbps. (Gotta love being the only cable user for miles) From: someone What is the rating of your power supply in watts.
700w From: someone Do the artifacts appear only on particles such as clouds, and on textures?
Yes, and they also appear on my avatar, and the minimap and sometimes the UI From: someone Do you have speakers or other electrical equipment near your system? No electrical equipment next to my PC, yes I have an anti-surge powerstrip on the floor that it is plugged into, No it has not, and No artificacts do not appear on any other program. And I have run some pretty graphic intensive stuff (Half Life 2 on high graphics setting) Also. During the time between the 6600 and the 7600 I dropped an old 5700 in there and had no problems with SL. And I am thinking it's pretty unlikely that it's the graphics card again. (This started happening after the last update by the way ((the optional one))

I got similar when I tried overclocking my processor once.

I tried quickly to do a check on supported resolutions for opengl and your graphics card, but ran out of time. However, check in preferences that you have the 'use native UI scale resolution' (I think thats what its called), 1400 x 900 doesn't seem to compute with the rendering capabilities of SL, although until I can check deeper, I can't be sure. In the meantime, try reducing that resolution down to one that is in the drop down selector box and see if that changes anything.
