I know windows 98 is not officaly supported by LL. But I was woundering if it is posible to get second life working on a 98 machine. I have a friend, who is still stuck using palace, because they don't know better. I want to help him get with the times. But He's not going to change oses or computer any time soon.

any help would would be apresheated.

Right now the machine, give a message about not being able to run in a window. And then gose to a black screen. Witch I assume is sl trying to switch into full screen mode. BUt it never gets around to displaying any thing.

ps sorry for the horible spelling. I'm not on my normall computer. So my spell check is SOL.

I've run SL in Win98SE with (almost) no trouble. Make sure the mainboard drivers and video card drivers are up to date -- I think this is what caused the only problems I had. As far as I can tell, 98SE doesn't let SL run fullscreen, but this isn't a major problem.
