I've been having a difficulty for a few months now... unfortunately I can't pinpoint exactly when this started.
If I rez a prim (and I believe I have tried all types now)... and try to texture the whole thing using the texture picker, it seems to work, but one side stays the default texture. And as far as I can tell, it's always the bottom of the prim. At that point the texture picker displays "multiple textures".
I can, of course, go in and use "select texture" and retexturize that face. But this is a HUGE pain.
I have tried different sims, different computers, reinstalled SL. I've taken off all prims/scripts that I have. I have had friends rez the same thing and try to texture. they have no problem texturing prims.
I love to build, but this has become an enormous burden. Any other ideas on things I may not have tried?
