Does anyone know why this happens? I recently purchased a private sim and often when I teleport to different areas of the sim (using a WarpPOS HUD tp'er..I think), and when avatars sit in pose balls, we are sent to the coordinates 0, 0, 0 in the region. I am there for 1-2 seconds before reaching my destination, and sometimes I see others there as well, avatars who should be sitting on poseballs on the other side of the sim!
The sim doesn't have any physical objects, is low lag w/out a ton of scripts, and LL switched hosts for me to try to resolve the problem. But that didn't seem to help.
Any ideas to get this to stop happening? My land is arranged somewhat close to the water surface, could that be it? I'm clueless....

This is a longtime issue and it's been on LL's JIRA bug list forever. As far as I know there's nothing you can do about it and it's pretty random. It seems that it got better for a time, but has come back with a vengeance lately...

Yes, this is just a function of how warppos works. Warppos is in fact a "hack" and not a supported feature. So I don't expect this quirk will ever be resolved. But really, it does no harm, so I don't think it's anything to get too worked up about.

ah, ok, thanks guys! I do have a followup question though, while I myself use the WarpPOS to tp around, none of my customers do (it's a HUD i use to transport myself to various places in the sim)... but I still see them in the void when I'm there, do you think they are really down there, or I'm just seeing them even though they're not really there?

I think this is related to another phenomenon I've become aware of recently, and that is when people sit, they often "seen" by sensors as being at 0,0,0 and can be picked up by sensors far past the 96m sensor limit. It's yes another quirk that nobody really understands. So to answer your question, they are, but they aren't
