Yet another new upgrade with new bugs for us all and the current version still has NOT been fixed? There is STILL a permisions bug where permisions form vendors and in inventory are shifting all on thier own. This is DIRECTLY impacting content creators as usually the shift is from limited permissions to FULL permissions. It has been shown to a bug hunter it has been reported and it has been reproduced. I think this total lack of regard for account holder satisfaction is a sad statement about the corporate mentality there. Obviously the following post was made to announcements merely to shut ppl up while LL continues to cause the situation to degrade further and totally IGNORE bugs and the customers who point trhem out. I refer you all as follows:

/3/09/123602/1.html

So where's this mythical slowdown while things get repaired? Seems like nothing but lip service to me.

Moved to Technical Issues.

This "permissions bug" you mention sounds like:

SL-12508: Apply last-owner of parent objects to rezzed objects

It is a critical bug to be fixed.

Please continue to refer to:

Moved from SL Answers to a thread where it won't be seen or responded to. Bury the issues again. This bug is costing content creators money. It allows for theft of created content which Linden does NOTHING to put a stop to. Seems to me that unles we're in that top 1% of the economic bracket Linden just doesn't give a $&^% about us.

Just to clarify, when an issue is on the Known Issues list, it does mean we are aware of and working towards a fix for the issue. As Torley mentioned, your particular issue sounded like one we are aware of (SL-12508: Apply last-owner of parent objects to rezzed objects) which is listed on the Known Issues list.

If you have verified that the bug you're encountering is a different one, please follow the How to Report a Bug instructions.

Ok Jeska, Cool, however this does NOT answer the question of what Linden is going to do about any items I maek being illegally copied and sold or given away. Those cost me time and it is how I pay rent in world. Does Linden plan on banning those individuals who did so or taking the erronious permissions as open sorucing. I did NOT place them as full perms that was done at the server level, therefore it is Linden's bug NOT mine. Is LL going to reimburse me for each adn every copy of my items that gets stolen or projected losses?
