Hi..
Looks great, haven't been able to play yet as it crashes after the quicktime init... could this be due to my quicktime-alternative? i don't have the 'real' soft...don't want to... the QT alternative is good for me... but as i say the game will not start...please advise...cheers

pc specs?, could be hardware issue to.
Most likly youll end up needing to install quicktime to log in though, never really bothered with it myself after i installed it either, bloatware -.-

Hi..
i have an XP1800 pc with 768 megs ram and a ATI9250 (256m) gfx card... i installed quicktime latest version (didn't remove the alternative version yet) and it still crashes at the same point, cannot write to memory error... i've actually un-installed 2nd life for now as i haven't the time to fix the problem, anyways thankyou

i use qt alt with no problems - could be another reason.

humm xp1800 you say? I have an xp1800 pc with via kt133 chipset, nvidia gforce 256 video card, windows 2000 pro that refuses to work wih second life. Crases during the logging-in process but used to work fine (before shiny water I think).
