Hi, I see there are a few threads on this subject.
Does anyone have any idea what the solution is ?
Anyone from Second Life ?

One possible problem is that the ports used by Second Life are being blocked. (I believe it uses port 13000 by default, and there is a command line option to change it.) If you have a home router, you might have to reconfigure it. If you're trying to use SL from behind a corporate firewall, you'll have to plead with your system administrator. And if neither of those is true and your ISP is blocking Second Life, you might be stuck.

I was having a problem similiar to this last night but it was with me trying to teleport to specific sims. I'd try to teleport someplace, and get an error that would disconnect me from the sim. Eventually I had to teleport back to home since I couldn't log in from where I 'crash teleported'. Not sure if I can get to the islands yet or not though.

From: Shirley Marquez One possible problem is that the ports used by Second Life are being blocked. (I believe it uses port 13000 by default I've tried that, no success. also tried the port forwarding advice in the support section, still no success. was working fine then all of a sudden stopped. good game, nice concept too buggy at the moment I guess ?
