Is there any ATI card that works well with SL? Will an ENvida G Force 6200 do any good for me .. now I have a G Force 4. I don't build or anything and I don't need the best, but is there an ATI card with 256 Ram that would work better than the 6200. I also don;t want to spend a bundle. I have a great card on my laptop. bUT want to have a little better performance on my desktop.
I have I GIG Ram.. Should I get more, no matter which card I choose?

Take the following advice:
1. Get an NVIDIA 6600/GT or a 7600GS/GT with 265MB of Ram (Some report good results with the NV6800XT)
2. Ensure you have at leat 1GB of RAM in your system, 2GB won't hurt.
3. For best results all round, all other things being equal, get the fastest CPU your Mother Board will support.
This little comparative may be usefull. All readings taken standing at the same point within the game (V1.9x):
Intel celeron 1.4GHz, Integrated ATI Video (64MB), 512MB PC2100 - 3fps (Laptop)
AMD sempron 2800+, FX5500/256, 1GB DDR333 - 11fps
(Had an ATI 9250/256, gave up in disgust)
AMD sempron 64 3100+, NV6600/256, 1GB DDR400 - 27fps
AMD 64 x2 3800, NV7800GT/256, 2GB DDR400 - 60fps
(First tried an ATI X800GTO/256 - experienced frequent crashes)
